This position performs a variety of basic and some advanced administrative functions. This includes scheduling appointments, giving information to callers, typing memos, and researching and developing presentations from templates. Provides general administrative support to a department or group of professionals including: Generates and assembles reports. Creating and working with spreadsheets using basic calculations. Receiving and responding to routine correspondence. Filing. Scanning. Binding projects. May operate as part of the front desk relief rotation, mailing, stocking kitchen and assist with catering deliveries. Other duties as assigned.
Job Summary
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to assembly, scanning, reporting and due date tracking. May also perform other general administrative duties to support line of business as required. This position will focus on scanning of documents sent to us by clients and on returns going out in paper format - so printing paper returns, assembling them, and packaging for delivery to external clients.
Essential Duties
Print and assemble tax returns utilizing firm software tools and Route Sheet instructions in the workflow tool to ensure all required client deliverables are included in documents saved to document management system and for delivery to external clients.
May be responsible for tax organizers, scanning of client workpapers, if applicable, tax return delivery, due date tracking, etc. and for meeting client expectations for timeliness, responsiveness, accuracy, and service quality.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office Skills
