Urgent Care Physician

Locum Urgent Care MD/DO needed in Arroyo Grande, California

Start: 5/25/26 (tentatively)

End: 7/20/26

LOA: 2 months

Credentialing: 30 days

Schedule: 40hrs/week to include weekend coverage, 8hr shift

Procedures: Basic Urgent Care- incision/drainage, suturing, reading X-Rays and EKG's, immunizations, wounds/infections, lab studies

EMR: Athena

License: California

Certifications: BC or BE, DEA, BLS

Additional Info: Clinic hours: M-F 8A-8P, SAT-SUN 9A-5P. Provider MUST be flexible on coverage days.

Support staff: 2 providers throughout the day, 2 MAs each.

No hits on license. Clean NPDB required with submission. Please include phone screen availability with submission and any additional languages spoken.

Will conisder EM docs BUT they have to be clear of Malpractice and AB Certified, NOT NBPAS.
