Nurse Practitioner-Critical Care: Intensivist

Banner Health is seeking a dynamic Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join our growing Intensivist team at Banner Desert Medical Center. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-supported, collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional critical care.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide cross-coverage call support
• Manage clinical care and round on patients
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced ICU environment

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current ACNP certification
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications
• Active prescribing privileges, including DEA license for controlled substances
• Experience preferred; new graduates with relevant critical care or cardiology experience are encouraged to apply

Work Schedule:

• Full-Time position
• Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• 12 shifts per month, including 2 weekend rotations (block schedule)
