Locums, Inc. has a Primary Care practice in the Macon, GA area who is seeking a full-time locums Primary Care Physician for two months coverage. Physician will be treating Diabetes, Colds/Flu, COPD, Asthma/Sinus, Drug screens, Immunizations/Vaccines, Sutures, Physicals, and Pain Management. Lodging and car rental is available to out-of-area providers. You will receive: Hourly Compensation Malpractice coverage at 1mil/3milDuration: ASAP to about 5/6/22 Hours: M-Th, 8am to 5pm, Fridays 8am to 2pm; Lunch is 12pm-1pmParticulars: EMR charting used (eClinicalWorks) 3-4 patients seen per hour Fast-paced, smaller office No On-call hours Roughly 75% Insured and 25% Medicare payor mix Clinic located in downtown Macon, GA Roughly 10% of patients are pain management; patients are urine screened and PDMP file is updated to prevent drug shopping Medical Assistants on staffRequirements: Active and Unrestricted Georgia Physician license (mandatory) Valid and unrestricted DEA License (mandatory) Must be comfortable being the only provider on-site during hours
