Position Overview:
Client is seeking a qualified locum tenens physician to provide coverage in both Hospice and Palliative Care settings, with a primary focus on Palliative Care. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a well-established program.

Details/Requirements:
Location: Savannah, Georgia
Start Date: ASAP through approximately September
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Active Georgia medical license
Board Certified (BC) or truly Board Eligible (BE)

Hospice Care Responsibilities:
6-bed inpatient unit
Patient load: 6 10 patients per day
Work split: 50% clinical / 50% administrative
Night & weekend call: 1 in 3 rotation
Minimal home care call responsibilities
EMR: Matrix

Palliative Care Responsibilities:
Primary coverage need
Patient load: 8 patients per day
Reduced administrative burden compared to hospice
APP support provided (supervision required)
EMR systems: SmartMD (in-house), Meditech, and Epic
