Pulmonology - Critical Care Physician

McLaren Bay Region is recruiting a Pulmonary & Critical Care physician to join an employed practice in Bay City, Michigan.

• This position provides autonomy in building your own practice while providing a full spectrum of Pulmonary and Critical Care services.
• Schedule will include ICU coverage, inpatient services and outpatient clinic.
• ICU rotation is 1:4 (1 week ICU, 1 week floor/clinic (clinic am, hospital pm), 2 weeks clinic).
• Night call supported through our hospitalist program
• 22 bed ICU intensivist program, including CCU and neuro and full diagnostic capabilities
• Additional services include EBUS, pulmonary rehab, and access to ERCP
• Cerner EMR in both hospital and outpatient setting
• Potential opportunity for outreach locations to support growth.
• The ideal candidate will have an interest in bedside procedures.
• Mentorship of new graduates is available.
• Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
• This opportunity is able to support J1 and H1b visas

Additional privileging will be required at the long-term acute care hospital located less than five miles from McLaren Bay Region. McLaren Bay Special Care is a 31-bed long-term acute care hospital specializing in the care and treatment of patients with complex medical needs that requires lengths of stay greater than 25 days. The experienced staff are highly trained and use a team approach to provide intensive, individualized treatment.
