We are seeking a dedicated Medical Oncologist to provide ongoing coverage. Position Details: Profession: Physician Specialty: Oncologist Default Rate Type: Daily Start Date: Not specified End Date: Not specified # of Providers Needed: 1 Shift Type: Days Shift Description: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Weekend Requirements: Under review; call is currently split between oncologists On Call Requirements: 1:4 call on weekends MANDATED Job Requirements: Board Certified (Highly Preferred) Ohio State License (Highly Preferred) BLS - REQUIRED ACLS - REQUIRED COVID Vaccination - REQUIRED; noted at the time of name clear 1 week at a time availability - REQUIRED Certification Requirements: License Requirements: Ohio State License This position will primarily serve adult and geriatric cancer patients in an outpatient setting, with some inpatient consults as needed. The schedule is full-time and ongoing, with a start date of August 14th, but exact end date is to be determined. JOB DETAILS: Practice Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient (rounding) Call Schedule: Under review; call is currently split between oncologists Call Ratio: 1 in 3 Case Mix: 70% Hematology / 30% Oncology / 0% Internal Medicine Number of Physicians in Practice: 2 MDs APP Coverage: 1 APP The assumed call schedule is weekly rotating call with other providers, 1 in 4, including weekends, with 24-hour call during the "on" week.
