About the Opportunity
Our client, a growing and well-established organization, is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their accounting career to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of the accounting function. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed
• Maintain and update financial records to ensure accuracy
• Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations
• Help prepare financial reports and support audit requests
• Analyze variances and assist with resolving discrepancies
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather and verify financial data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Internship or 1+ year of accounting experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP a plus)
• Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
