CLOSED 12.12.2025 Join Our Team: OB/GYN Hospitalist Full-Time Inpatient in Iowa We are seeking a dedicated OB/GYN Hospitalist for a locum-to-perm opportunity. This role provides full-time inpatient coverage, caring for patients without a primary OB/GYN and participating in emergent maternal care. Schedule 6.5 shifts/month, 24-hour in-house call (call rooms available) Patient contact: 7:00 AM 7:00 AM Weekend coverage required Responsibilities Care for OBED patients, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections Manage emergent obstetric cases Participate in the maternity transport team Collaborate with residents and MFM on-call No outpatient or GYN responsibilities Facility Details Inpatient only, no telehealth 8-bed OBED per provider Annual OBED visits: 1,389; 463 deliveries Equipped with medical imaging, lab, pharmacy EMR: Epic Supervision of APPs not required Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN Active Iowa License or IMLC (LOQ required at credentialing) This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled OB/GYN Hospitalist to deliver high-quality maternal care in a supportive, progressive hospital environment.
