p/t FP&A - 100% Remote for Local Candidates

About the Company and Opportunity:

• Our client is a non-profit in DC that is focused on providing food to those in need.
• Due to a vacancy, they are hiring a FP&A to work remote. Laptop is provided.
• Schedule: 20/hrs. a week - some weeks it could be closer to 30/hrs
• Duration: ongoing
• Pay: $40-45/hr.

Overview of the FP&A role:

• Assist with managing Excel spreadsheets for the forecasting process, budget process, and reporting needs.
• Help uploading data into the FP&A system PowerPlan.
• Create project codes in the FP&A system.
• Support with setting up a new FP&A system (still being identified).
• Assist with setting up automated reporting in PowerBI/Blackbaud.
• Consolidate employee labor allocations by project ID to ADP upload format.
• Forecasting and budgeting.

Preferred Qualifications for the FP&A:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree
• 5+ years of FP&A experience
• Experience with PowerPlan, PowerBI, Blackbaud is a plus
• Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Index Match)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
