Valid DEA registration
National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Current CPR/BLS certification (AHA-approved)
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)
Completion of all required agency and facility-specific training
Responsibilities Diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders in children with intellectual disabilities.
Conduct psychiatric assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
Justify and manage psychotropic medications.
Accurately document clinical encounters using an electronic health record (EHR) system.
Collaborate with clinical and support staff to ensure high-quality care.
Communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams and families.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
