New Job Details Location: 1 hour from New Orleans Duration: January July 2025 (potential for extension) Schedule: 1-3 weeks per month Shift: Mon Fri, 8a-4.30p Call: Very low call volume - possibility of zero calls and zero consults
Weekday call Monday Friday + 1 weekend per month
NP taking primary call. 24 hours to respond to hospital consults. Clinic call ends at 8pm on weekdays. Weekends are 24 hour call for stat consults.
Patient volume: average 20 patients per day Scope: General Neurology with an inpatient rounding component - EEG, EMG and Nerve Conduction Study abilities preferred. EMR: EPIC Hospital: level 3 trauma center Group/support: 1 NP, 1 Clinical support staff per provider (currently 1 LPN and 1 MA for 2 providers), 1.5 Patient access (non-clinical) staff. The clinic shares a centralized front desk for patient check in and management of clinic visitors Requirements (boards, license): Board certified or board eligible, active Louisiana or compact license
