Are you a compassionate, skilled Medical Oncologist looking for an exciting locum opportunity in Greenville, SC? Join a dynamic, free-standing cancer care team and make an impact in both outpatient and inpatient oncology care! (21805)

Assignment Details:

• Coverage Dates: February 1, 2026 September 30, 2026

• Call Schedule:

  • First call for patient & hospital calls: Tue 4:30 PM 8:00 AM, Fri 4:30 PM Mon 8:00 AM

  • On-site inpatient rounding: Sat & Sun

  • Call ratio: One rotation every 5 6 weeks, depending on staffing

? Patient Population & Practice Info:

• Adult & Geriatric patients

• Practice Mix: 65% benign hematology, 35% malignant oncology

• Physicians in Practice: 8

• APP Support: 4

• Average Daily Volume:

  • Outpatient: 15 patients

  • Hospital/Call Rounding: 20 patients

• Documentation: EPIC EMR

Responsibilities:

• Manage bone marrow transplants & blood bank

• Order tests and imaging

• Prescribe medications

• Collaborate with nurse oncologists for chemotherapy administration

? Travel & Expenses Covered:

• Flights, hotel, rental car reimbursed

• Mileage billed at IRS standard rate

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology

• Active SC license (or eligible to obtain)

• BLS & DEA required
