• Position Description: We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist-Oncology Physician to join our team near FRUITLAND ID. This locum tenens opportunity offers the chance to provide essential care in an inpatient setting, focusing on oncology patients.

• Practice Setting: As a Hospitalist-Oncology Physician, you will primarily engage in inpatient rounding, admitting, and consulting.
• Shift Hours: The shift hours are from 8 am to 5 pm, without any on-call responsibilities, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.
• Patient Population: Your responsibilities will include caring for patients in the inpatient Oncology unit, encompassing both oncology and hematology cases.
• Support Staff: While there are no Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) providing coverage, outpatient Oncologists are available for any necessary support or inquiries.
• Coverage Focus: This position exclusively involves inpatient coverage, with no supervision responsibilities over other healthcare providers.
• Documentation System: We utilize EPIC as our documentation system/EMR, ensuring streamlined and efficient record-keeping processes.
• Certification Requirement: Certification requirements include being Board Certified as a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist and possessing BLS certification.
• Responsibilities: As a locum, you will be tasked with treating both Oncology and hematology patients, including administering necessary medications.
• Credentialing: We anticipate a 90-day credentialing timeframe to facilitate a smooth onboarding process.
