  • Clinic Coverage:
    • 8-hour day shifts from Monday through Friday, providing comprehensive care to pediatric endocrinology patients.
    • Manage routine and follow-up consultations, ensuring the highest quality of care.
  • Call Coverage:
    • 24-hour call coverage from Monday through Sunday.
    • Call duties are primarily phone-based, including handling "mommy clinic" calls and hospital/ER phone consultations.
    • On-site visits are required only for new diabetic consults, typically involving a single visit during a 48-hour admission to meet with the family and arrange follow-up care.

• Licensure:
  • Must be licensed in North Carolina.
• Certifications:
  • Board Certification: Required in Pediatric Endocrinology.
  • DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) certification is mandatory.
• Experience:
  • Extensive experience in pediatric endocrinology, particularly in managing diabetic patients and other endocrine disorders.
  • Ability to provide expert phone consultation and manage inpatient cases with the support of hospitalists.

• Support Staff:
  • You will work with a dedicated team, including 1 RN, 1 LPN, 1 MA, and 1 referral coordinator/scheduler, as well as centralized registration staff.
• Flexible Scheduling:
  • This position offers a structured yet flexible work schedule, allowing you to balance professional responsibilities with personal time.
• Immediate Start:
