Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Primary Care Physician (Inpatient Rehab) Post-Acute Care Central Massachusetts Worcester, MA

Opportunity Highlights:

• Full-time physician role in post-acute care settings

• Provide care in skilled nursing facilities, inpatient rehab, and long-term care hospitals
• Daily census: patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and support safe patient transitions
• Work closely with hospice, palliative care, and home health providers

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective care in a post-acute setting
• Conduct inpatient rounding and manage chronic/acute conditions
• Ensure accurate documentation and billing through EMR (Gehrimed)
• Adhere to CMS guidelines and support quality improvement initiatives

Compensation & Benefits:

• Estimated annual compensation: $252,000 $302,000 (fee-for-service; uncapped productivity)

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active Massachusetts medical license or eligibility
• Experience in post-acute or SNF settings preferred (not required)
• Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills
